After showing Triple Crown Sports had a grasp on how to enter the club volleyball world with the TC NIT, all eyes have been watching for the next big tournament to be cooked up by the volleyball division.
With an eye to maximizing the competitive depth of every pool, from ages 13u through 17u, it’s time for the debut of the Summer NIT, set for June 7-9 at the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, AZ. Nearly 120 teams are in the mix for this seven-match guarantee, and in a unique twist, cash prizes will be awarded in several categories.
Local programs such as the Arizona Revolution, Arizona Sky, Arizona Storm Elite and East Valley Juniors were key to getting the event established and, by their attendance, helped draw a deep and impressive roster of other clubs. Club V, Houston Juniors, Houston Skyline, Idaho Crush, North Pacific Juniors and Texas Advantage teams will be suiting up, with other terrific clubs looking for a sturdy test of skills ahead of the USAV and AAU national championships.
College coaches from the following programs will be on site; a selected group will run the NIT College Camp on June 10:
