Where: Kansas City Convention Center Age: All players 14u - 18u Cost: $175 per player If you would like to be added to the waitlist please contact brooke@triplecrownsports.com Players will receive instruction from all four coaches during the 1.5 hour session. All players will receive a camp T-Shirt. Camp check-in will be located in Hall 2 of Bartle Hall/Convention Center, which is located upstairs. Follow signs to check-in which will be located next to the main tournament desk. Player check-in will take place the hour window before your specific camp starts. Players don't need a wristband to enter Bartle Hall Convention Center. |

Meet the coaches running the camp:
UTSA
Head Coach: Carol Price-Torok Carol Price-Torok a former UTSA assistant coach, on was named the seventh volleyball head coach in UTSA history on Dec. 18, 2021.
Price-Torok returns to the Alamo City after spending the last six years as the head coach at Bradley. The 2018 Missouri Valley Conference Coach of the Year led the Braves to 85 wins, three conference tournaments and the 2021 National Invitational Volleyball Championship Sweet 16. Price-Torok took over a Bradley program which won 30 MVC games in 10 years combined and led the Braves to 53 league victories and an 85-90 (.486) overall record in her six seasons. She mentored nine first-team All-MVC selections, a 2020 AVCA All-Region Outside Hitter, the 2021 Setter of the Year, one MVC Freshman of the Year, 16 MVC scholar-athletes, one MVC Volleyball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, five CoSIDA Academic All-District honorees and four State Farm MVC Good Neighbor award winners during her time at Bradley. Prior to Bradley, Price-Torok spent eight seasons as the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Arkansas where she helped the Razorbacks to back-to-back NCAA Tournament bids in 2012 and 2013. |
IOWA STATE
Associate Head Coach: Jen Malcom Jen Malcom returned to Iowa State in a coaching capacity as assistant coach in February 2016 and will begin her sixth season in 2021. The 2021 campaign will be Malcom’s third as associate head coach, as she received the promotion following the conclusion of the 2018 season.
Malcom, who played for ISU from 2006-08, previously coached at Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Arkansas State. ISU’s middle blockers have been outstanding in recent seasons, with Malcom’s efforts leading to a pair of All-Big 12 middles in 2019 in Candelaria Herrera (First Team) and Avery Rhodes (Second Team). Herrera led ISU with a .314 hitting percentage while Rhodes bounced back from a season-ending injury in 2018 to lead Iowa State in blocking with 110 total blocks. |
LOUISVILLE
Associate Head Coach: Dan Meske Dan Meske, former head coach at Augustana and assistant coach at Nebraska, began his stint as the associate head coach for Cardinal volleyball at the University of Louisville in 2017. He has helped Head Coach Dani Busboom Kelly take the Cardinals to unprecedented heights.
The 2020 season for Cardinal volleyball stretched eight months, beginning in September and, for the first time, extending into the second semester of the school year. The Cardinals masked up and put together an 15-3 record and won the ACC Championship. UofL earned its highest postseason seeding with a No. 11 ranking going into the 48-team field. A 3-1 win over San Diego gave the Cardinals their sixth overall and second consecutive trip to the Sweet Sixteen. UofL won four of the ACC’s five major honors as senior Tori Dilfer was named Setter of the Year, sophomore middle blocker Amaya Tillman was voted Defensive Player of the Year, outside hitter Anna DeBeer was selected Freshman of the Year and Dani Busboom Kelly was named Coach of the Year. Dilfer, DeBeer, Stevenson and Aiko Jones were named First Team All-ACC and Amaya Tillman was Second Team All-ACC. Louisville placed four players, DeBeer, Dilfer, Aiko Jones and Stevenson, on the AVCA East All-Region Team. Busboom Kelly was named the East Region Coach of the Year and DeBeer won East Region Freshman of the Year. Stevenson was selected as an AVCA Second Team All-American with Dilfer being chosen as an AVCA Third Team All-American. In addition, DeBeer earned AVCA All-American Honorable Mention honors. Stevenson and Dilfer were also selected as members of the US Collegiate National Team. The Cardinals led the nation in blocks per set and led the league in opponent hitting percentage. Louisville also ranked among the top five in the ACC in hitting percentage (second), kills per set (second) and assists per set (second). |
