Designed for the athlete who is committed to taking her beach game to the highest level with the goal of becoming a collegiate sand volleyball athlete and possibly, an Olympian.
COMMITMENT - Dedicated. You play on your high school indoor team but for club, beach is your primary sport.
SEASON - October through July, with preseason in September
DIVISIONS - Girls’ 18’s, 16’s, 14’s Maximum of 56 participants
COLLEGE RECRUITING - Personal recruiting plan with specific educational and athletic goals. Introductions to college coaches. Priority for recruiting camps and clinics.
TOURNAMENTS - Travel to 2 during colder months; play in up to 10 over the summer—6 locally & 4 in the eastern US. Tournament entry fees for non-Triple Crown hosted events are not included in the program.
AGILITY & JUMP TRAINING - 2 days a week, before practices. Footwork, speed, vertical jump, and explosiveness necessary for sand volleyball athletes. Both sessions included in program fees.
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING - Strength & Conditioning is included in the program fees. Membership fee to ICF is not required but will be available for $120 for the season or $12/per month.
Weekly Nov—Jan plus 2 days strength
2x weekly Feb—April, plus 1 day strength
3x weekly May—July, plus 1 day strength
Attend additional practices at any other locations free
BEACH WEEK - Week-long camp at Florida State University with 2 daily practices and add’l play. Camp & lodging is an additional $460. Camp is not mandatory but a way to build and bond with our athletes. All coaches will be at camp during beach week and there will be no practices during this time.
LOCATIONS - Beach Practices at TC Sports Complex in Kennesaw, GA. Strength training is at ICF in Kennesaw, GA.
BEACH CLINICS - Attend as many as you like, free of charge.
NUTRITION - Training on how to eat, when to eat, and what to eat for optimal performance. Regular nutrition seminars; athletes will learn to keep a food log & create a meal plan with professional feedback. Included with program fees.
PROGRAM FEES - $3250 for the entire season payable in four installments or a 4% discount for full payment. Program deposit of $765 is required upon acceptance into the program.
REQUIREMENTS - This program is designed for players who have played in a beach tournament prior or are dedicated athletes who understand the rigorous training program listed above, willing to dedicate themselves to a higher level of commitment. Players should be geared towards an Olympic or College career after training with Triple Crown. After training with Triple Crown Beach players will be well versed and able to set (bump or hand), know the fundamentals of jump serving, able to place shots and put the ball away, able to block effectively or accurately and consistently dig balls to target.
COACHES - For the 2013-2014 roster we will have 3 Select Coaches on staff 3 Core coaches on staff as well as our Health and Wellness coach, Strength coach, and Speed & Agility coach.
